Science has always been about making sense of complexity.

I’m Leander Sinanan, a research-trained life sciences professional with a background in chemistry, biomedical research, scientific literature analysis, and scientific communication.

My scientific training included graduate research spanning biochemistry, molecular biology, and disease-focused biomedical science. I advanced through doctoral candidacy and contributed to three peer-reviewed publications before my career took a less conventional path.

In later work, I returned to scientific research through literature review and evidence synthesis, translating complex biomedical findings into clear, useful presentations for a physician collaborator. That experience reinforced the part of science I’ve always been strongest at: weaving dense technical information into a digestible story.

Today, I’m building on that foundation through scientific communication and evidence synthesis while developing expertise in clinical research and regulatory science.

I’m currently focused on opportunities that connect scientific knowledge with research, writing, and evidence-based decision-making. I’m especially interested in scientific and medical communication, clinical research, and the regulatory side of life sciences.
